RT² RNA QC PCR Array
Use the RT² RNA QC PCR Array to Detect and Prevent:
- Reverse transcription inhibition
- PCR amplification inhibition
- Genomic DNA contamination
- False positive signals
- Multi-peak dissociation curves
The optional RT² RNA QC PCR Arrays are designed to assess the quality of either
human, mouse, or rat RNA samples before characterization with the RT²
Profiler™ PCR Array as part of the complete PCR Array System. It contains a
number of PCR controls that test for RNA integrity, inhibitors of reverse
transcription and PCR amplification, genomic and general DNA contamination.
Failure of any of these controls would otherwise confound SYBR Green based
real-time PCR results by causing false negative or false positive results.
The RT² RNA QC PCR Arrays provide added confidence in your real-time PCR
results whether you are new to gene expression analysis and need help with your
RNA quality control or you are characterizing a large number of samples in a
high-throughput manner and need controls for RNA quality consistency across your
entire study. Use the RT² RNA QC PCR Array to test the quality of your RNA
samples before wasting your master mix and PCR Arrays on potentially
sub-standard samples.

Please note that the RT² PCR Array First Strand Kit must be used to
synthesize cDNA template from your total RNA in order to accurately interpret
